Sisters, today after church our family went to the gym per usual.

When I looked at my workout for the day I had bench press as my strength movement along with some other exercises. I had to do 6 sets of 6 reps at 80% of my max.

My projected max was 205 lbs. - I GULPED.

80% of that was 164 lbs. I said oh this must be a mistake. Back story very briefly: April 26th I partook in a CrossFit competition, I came in 3rd, though won the bench press and another workout, there were 4 workouts total. The workout for the bench press was perform as many reps as possible in 2 min. All females in my division had to bench 95 lbs. so I came out with 35 reps and won that workout. I had entered that workout in my training app, so I thought it may have skewed my projected max.

Well, I said how about I go for 135, because I’ve literally never lifted more than 105.

Today, as I was about to start my 6th set at 135 I looked up and I just spoke to God. I asked Him for His strength and I lifted that weight 6 times yall. To God the glory.

But this is a testament to how VITAL it is for us to have Christ in our mind at all times and NOT listen to the doubting. I DID IT & because I invited Christ in that moment, His strength carried me through to see that victory.

Hallelujah!!! Be encouraged, we CAN do ALL things with Christ.

God bless you all!
